In Italy was introduced in 2018 the standard for the use of ultralight bags intended as primary packaging and for the removal of fruit, vegetables and other loose food products. From January 1st 2021, new requirement relating to the production of the product has benn introduced, means with a content of material previously renewable by at least 60% determined on the basis of the UNI CEN / TS standard.
In addition, the bag must be biodegradable and compostable according to the international standard UNI EN 13432 and has got the suitability for food use.

Ceplast produces in its own factory bags with all the suitability characteristics required by the current standard and according to the requests of the CUSTOMERS, identified in the ORGANIZED DISTRIBUTION. The interest of European operators and wholesalers is also growing.
